PIMR is a fully open-access journal. All articles are made freely available on the journal's website immediately upon publication. There is no embargo period, subscription barrier, or registration requirement for readers.
All published articles are distributed under the
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). Under this licence, any person may freely read, download, copy, print, distribute, translate, adapt, and build upon published content for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the journal is acknowledged as the source.
Authors retain copyright in their work. Submission and publication in PIMR does not transfer copyright to the journal or to the publisher. Authors are required to complete and submit a Licence to Publish form granting PIMR the right to publish and distribute the work under CC BY 4.0.
There is no article processing charge (APC) at any stage. Authors pay nothing to submit, revise, or publish their manuscript. PIMR is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), which independently verifies that the journal meets internationally recognised open access and quality standards.
