3.3 Author Confirmation at Submission

By submitting a manuscript, the corresponding author confirms on behalf of all co-authors that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere in any form.
  • The manuscript is not under simultaneous consideration by another journal or publication.
  • All authors have read and approved the submitted version.
  • All required ethics approvals and informed consents have been obtained.
  • All conflicts of interest and sources of funding have been fully disclosed.
  • Any use of AI tools in preparing the manuscript has been disclosed as required by the AI Disclosure Policy.

3.4 Language and Format

Manuscripts must be written in English. British or American spelling is acceptable, but it must be used consistently throughout the manuscript. Manuscripts must be formatted and prepared as described in the Instructions for Authors available on the journal website. Manuscripts that do not meet the formatting requirements or that contain language of insufficient quality to evaluate the scientific content will be returned before peer review.

3.5 Simultaneous Submission

A manuscript may not be submitted to PIMR while it is under review at another journal. If a submission is found to be under simultaneous consideration elsewhere, it will be rejected and the matter will be treated in accordance with the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.
